Each year, CSTR holds a welcome party to introduce new members and a theme is chosen. CSTR members have a fun time dressing up to match the theme if they choose. Members provide a pot luck display of snacks and treats. Past themes included Ren Faire, Rocking Cross State, Wild Wild West, Woodstock and more

We have some really amazing members. They come from all walks of life and have three things in common, the love of horses, camping with horses and trail riding.
We have some great trail managers in the group who are always looking for members to learn the skill of mapping out and marking trails.
Members also pitch in and help distribute hay twice during the ride, help to pump water and distribute it to thirsty horses and help the caterer serve meals.
Young or old, long-time members or recent additions, they all help make this a great experience. CSTR prides itself on being "family" and we hope that you will join us.

If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to get in touch with us. We're always happy to hear from our members. We welcome hearing from people interested in finding out about our group.
All entrants must be members because of insurance requirements. If not currently a member, please see the Membership Page to sign up. You may sign up as a Rider or Non Rider. We love to have non riding family members join in the fun. Submit your entry application using the online form or download the paper form and the Spring Newsletter. Participants can choose between doing the whole ride, the first or second half or both weekends. The fees are slightly higher using the Paylink because of fees charged by the provider.
